Applied Engineering and Technology
The Department of Applied Engineering and Technology (AET) at Morehead State University offers both graduate and undergraduate degree programs designed to prepare you for a successful 21st Century career. All AET programs are engineering and technology-based with the majority of courses offering hands-on learning experiences in robotics, sustainable energy and technology, industrial technology and more in the department’s modern labs.

Our graduates are well prepared for a

alumni surveys show our graduates have high job placement rates in
local, regional and national industries and businesses. A survey of
recent AET graduates shows:
- 80% have full-time employment
- More than 70% were offered their current position shortly after graduation.
- 40 % were given a promotion within five years of graduation.
- Nearly 100% of those surveyed credit the AET department with their professional competency.
- The average salary for graduates of AET is $55,000 within 5 years of graduation.
