    In October of 1997, the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology established an Advisory Board of leading professionals who are actively involved in the management of educational, business, and industrial organizations. The primary purpose of this board is to provide expert opinions, suggestions and feedback relative to AET programs and their potential impact on the economic development of MSU’s service region.

    AET Advisory Board Scholarship Endowment

    We are pleased to announce the establishment of the AET Advisory Board Scholarship Endowment. This merit-based scholarship endowment is established to help recruit and retain top quality undergraduate students in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology at Morehead State University.

    In several decades, the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology has touched the lives of more than 1500 students. Through their education in our program, they became prepared as highly skilled employees for the economic enterprise system in the region and beyond. As technological means and processes change continually, there is a need for more qualified and prepared incoming students.

    We invite all AET graduate employers, alumni, faculty, staff, students, Advisory Board members and friends to join in this vitally important effort to the make the scholarship a reality. Please complete and return the commitment form.With your personal and/or organizational gift to the AET Advisory Board Scholarship Fund, you will make significant contributions to AET's vision of continuous improvement and student success. Nadeera Ekanayake
Nadeera Ekanayake, from Sri Lanka, is a graduate student in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology(SLIIT). She has more than 3 years of industrial experience working as a software engineer for an ERP software development company. Nadeera joined MSU in spring 2012 and works as a graduate assistant in the AET department.
