    • Physics Area of Concentration, Computational Physics Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those students who want to enter graduate school in physics and who have a strong interest in computational physics.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Engineering Physics (Electrical) Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in electrical engineering. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Engineering Physics (Mechanical) Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in mechanical engineering. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Physics Area of Concentration, Teaching Option, Bachelor of Science

      This option is for those interested in teaching physics in secondary schools.

    • Physics Major, Applied Physics Option, Bachelor of Science

      The B.S. in physics provides a solid background in physics and mathematics. Students prepare to enter graduate and/or engineering school, a career as a professional in industry or secondary science teaching. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering. 

    • Physics Major, Professional Physics Option, Bachelor of Science

      The B.S. in physics provides a solid background in physics and mathematics. Students prepare to enter graduate and/or engineering school, a career as a professional in industry or secondary science teaching. The program offers the 3-2 option in which by transferring to an engineering program to complete the last two years, students get a dual degree in physics and engineering.

    • Psychology - Area of Concentration

      The department of psychology offers a Bachelor's Degree Program with an Area of Concentration in Psychology. The Area of Concentration in Psychology is similar to the Major in Psychology except that (1) students are not required to complete a minor and (2) students are required to take more psychology courses.

    • Psychology - Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience

      Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses the scientific disciplines dealing with the structure, development, function, chemistry, pharmacology and pathology of the Nervous system. Students who enroll in this program will receive introductory and advanced overviews of neuroscience and will learn about the effects of drugs, gender and aging on the brain, along with a variety of other topics related to neuroscience. Students will also take electives in behavioral/social science, health science, physical science and life science to gain a broad, multifaceted understanding of neuroscience.

    • Psychology - Major

      The department of psychology offers a Bachelor's Degree Program with a Major in Psychology. The Major in Psychology is similar to the Area of Concentration in Psychology except that (1) students must complete a minor and (2) students are not required to take as many psychology courses.

    • Psychology - Master's Program in Clinical Psychology

      The department of psychology offers a Master's Program in Clinical Psychology. The program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology Accreditation Council (MPAC).

    • Psychology - Master's Program in General-Experimental Psychology

      The department of psychology offers a Master's Program in General-Experimental Psychology.

    • Psychology - Minor

      The department of psychology offers a Minor in Psychology.

    • Radiologic Science - Associate Degree Program

      The Radiologic Science Program at Morehead State University is a two-year associate degree program. Radiologic Science involves x-rays and other forms of radiant energy as used in medicine for radiographing (x-raying) bones and organs, and for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Along with lecture courses, the program provides hands-on opportunities in its state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and clinical education centers.  

    • Respiratory Care, Associate of Applied Science

      Respiratory Care is a health care discipline that specializes in the promotion of optimum cardiopulmonary function and health.  Career opportunities include hospitals, skilled nursing care facilities, home health agencies, and physician's offices.  Note: This is an Applied Science degree, with a selective admission process each year.

    • Space Science - Bachelor of Science

      Space science is an extremely interdisciplinary and technology-intensive discipline which encompasses physics, astrophysics, satellite telecommunications, electrical engineering, mathematics and computer sciences.

    • Space Systems Engineering, Master of Science

      The Master's in Space Science Engineering (MSSE) is an engineering degree which trains you in systems-level engineering in spacecraft design, development and operation, which are all skills appropriate for careers in space technologies and applications. Graduates gain competencies in space systems engineering and design level knowledge of the concepts, technologies and processes associated with aerospace systems requirements. We place an emphasis on astronautics, emphasizing satellite design and development – particularly in the areas of satellite systems, (i.e. communications, command and data handling, attitude determination and control, thermal systems and power systems), nanosatellites, space mission operations and ground station technologies.

    • University of Kentucky-MSU Physician Assistant Program

    • Veterinary Science

      The Department of Agricultural Sciences at Morehead State University offers a bachelor of science in veterinary science.  The program covers all aspects of pre-veterinary medicine including all pre-veterinary requirements for all of the major colleges of veterinary medicine in the U.S.  In addition, the program provides hands-on opportunities in various animal health and disease laboratories.

    • Veterinary Technology

      The Department of Agricultural Sciences at Morehead State University offers both an associate of applied science in veterinary technology and a bachelor of science in veterinary technology.  Students in the program develop their skills on a wide variety of animals and take courses which contribute to their understanding of animal care and nursing.  Clinical training is on actual animal patients and is completed at the MSU Veterinary Technology Small Animal Teaching Hospital, Equine Health and Education Center and farm areas of the Derrickson Agricultural Complex.
