Auxiliary Services at Morehead State University consist of several distinct service providers, University Bookstore, the EagleCard Office, Dining Services, Concessions and Vending, Postal Services, Laundry Services, Child Development Center, Environmental Health and Safety, and the Eagle Trace Golf Course.

MSU Auxiliary Services are University operated or contractor managed entities.  These entities provide goods and services necessary to foster the academic affairs of the University, support the University's administrative function and enhance the quality of campus life.

Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services Bill Redwine oversees the various components of this unit.  The Assistant Vice President is responsible for planning and implementing the budgets, reviewing monthly financial analyses and implementing corrective measures as needed, working with managers to evaluate the efficiency of each service unit and recommending improvements, assisting in the negotiation of contracts and service agreements, as well as monitoring contract compliance and participating on various committees and sub-committees that directly and/or indirectly impact the quality of campus life.

Bookstore1The University Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC), is the primary academic resource for MSU students and faculty.  Led by General Manager Cheryl Farmer, the University Bookstore provides MSU students with used and new textbooks, custom published faculty course materials, reference works, general reading books, school supplies and officially licensed MSU clothing and gifts.  The University Bookstore is also the campus source for computer hardware and software from such vendors as Microsoft, Sony Vaio, Gateway, Apple and Hewlett-Packard.

HM3 MSU Dining Services contracted by Aramark, under the direction of Tony Johnson, Senior Director, offers a variety of traditional foods, national fast food brands and baked goods.  Whether you want something on the run from the convenience store or have the time for a more relaxed meal in the campus restaurant at Alumni Tower, we will meet your needs.  MSU Dining Services is committed to providing you the best in dining services.  Alumni Tower Dining Room and Food Court offers a variety and abundance of food.  Whether you want the all-you-care-to-eat fare or pizza and burgers from Itza Pizza and Grill Works, Alumni Tower is the location.  The MarketPlace at ADUC features national favorites, Chick-Fil-A and Taco Bell along with The MSU Home Zone.  The Plaza Cafe in ADUC is your choice for prepared sandwiches or pasta cooked to your taste at the station.  A variety of specialty coffees, lattes and cappuccinos is available at Java City in the Camden-Carroll Library.

Truck2 Concessions and Vending Services, managed by Terry Mays, operates a variety of vending (small value transaction) machines at locations throughout campus.  Machine types include soft drinks, snacks and coffee machines.  These machines are located at major vending areas, academic and administrative buildings, student residence halls and recreational facilities.  Depending upon the machine location and type, vending operations can be initiated by coins or paper currency and by EagleCards with established vending balances.  MSU is a Pepsi exclusive campus.  This unit also operates the Concessions program for all major MSU athletic events, concerts and other activities.  The typical concessions fare of hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, candy and drinks are always available.

Problems with vending machines should be reported to (606) 783-2560.  Refunds may be obtained at the Cashier's window in Howell-McDowell Administration Building.

Jetz Logo Laundry Services at Morehead State University are provided by Jetz Professional Laundry Systems and consist of nearly 200 washers and dryers located within student residence halls and family housing units.  The machines are both coin operated and accessible with the EagleCard.

The EagleCard Office, managed by Doug Snedegar, is the coordinating office for all ID card functions.  Meal plans, required dining, flex dollars and declining balance accounting are all managed by this office.  The mission of the EagleCard Office is to provide the entire MSU community with the latest card transaction technology environment.  Students may stop by the EagleCard Office to have their ID card made or replaced or to add funds to their account.

University Postal Services, headed by Elaine Keller, is a contract station for the United State Postal Service.  The University Post Office (UPO) is located on the first floor of ADUC and provides all of the same services available at any Post Office.  Daily delivery and dispatch of official University mail, student mail and other correspondence are the primary functions.

While the general administration of Auxiliary Services is the responsibility of the Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services Bill Redwine, he reports to MSU's Vice-President for Administration and Fiscal Services, Mike Walters.  The complete organizational chart for Auxiliary Services is available here.

Comments and criticisms are welcome and acted upon.  Please send all communications via email to Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services, Bill Redwine at b.redwine@morehead-st.edu
