Program Info
The MSETM degree is designed primarily for persons holding a bachelor's degree in industrial technology, engineering, engineering technology, applied sciences, manufacturing engineering, mechanical design, or related technical professional programs.
MS - Engineering and Technology Management
MSET

The Master of Science in Engineering Technology prepares students for jobs as Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, Plant Engineer/Manager, Senior Engineer, Process Engineer, Design Engineer, and Quality Engineer.

Admission to Morehead State University (see MSU admission requirements).

Satisfy University admission requirements. The requirements can be found on the MSU Admission Requirements webpage. Please see the Curriculum Map for specific courses for the option. Satisfy the following:
1. Satisfy the University admission requirements.
2. Satisfy one of the following:
a. A minimum score of 800 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE and a minimum of 3.0 undergraduate grade point average in major field.
b. GRE (verbal & quantitative score) X GPA = 2,400.


Requirements for the Degree
1. Satisfy admission requirements.
2. Successfully complete and defend a thesis or pass both written and oral comprehensive exit examinations.
3. Must be unconditionally admitted.

Stephen Glossner
Stephen Glossner is a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology. In December 2012, he earned his BS Degree in Engineering Technology with an option in Construction Management from Morehead State University. He is currently pursuing his MS degree in Engineering and Technology Management. Stephen is a member of the AGC and ABC student organizations at MSU. He is also an active alumnus of the Morehead State University Men’s collegiate bowling team.
