This is a new three week online course that provides hands on experience with collaborative web tools. Get the conversation started with Discussion Boards. Work together to construct a group website with Wikis. Present individual ideas and receive feedback with Blogs. Meet online using Blackboard’s video web conferencing tool, Collaborate. 

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to introduce the online collaborative tools available in Blackboard and to demonstrate how to use them effectively. Experiencing these tools as a student will allow you to gain a fresh perspective on how to incorporate them into your course.

This is an asynchronous online course. However, there will be one synchronous activity in week 3.
