NCATE is the profession’s mechanism to help establish high quality teacher preparation.

Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board

The Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) is responsible for issuing and renewing certificates for all Kentucky teachers and administrators.

Admission Requirements:

1) Valid teaching certificate
2) Eligible for admission to Graduate School

Program Requirements:

1) The program must be planned with the student's advisor on check sheets available for the program
2) Students must successfully complete an exit project and oral examination
