Application Procedure
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply to Morehead State University by completing the Admission and Scholarship Application (www.moreheadstate.edu/apply). In addition to the application, you need to send your 7-semester high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores to Enrollment Services, 100 Admission Center, Morehead, KY 40351.
Some scholarships require an additional application, which is provided below.
If you are a current student, you do not need to reapply for admission, but you will need to complete a supplemental scholarship application, if required.
Requirements
Recipients of the scholarship must be a descendant of alumni from Breckinridge Training School/ University Breckinridge School who attended a minimum of two academic years. If no descendent/relative is available for the award, then the scholarship may be awarded to a resident of Rowan County, KY, then to a Kentucky resident. Recipients shall be undergraduate students who maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.5 upon high school graduation and/or previous undergraduate work at MSU. Recipient shall maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
