Bio

Mr. Jayson Minix is a graduate student in his second semester at MSU and is currently working towards his MSETM degree. In addition, Jayson is also working as a graduate assistant in the Applied Engineering & Technology department at MSU. He currently holds a BS in Aeronautical Science from Liberty University, and has many years of experience in the aerospace industry. Jayson is a certified aircraft mechanic, a commercial pilot, as well as a certified flight instructor. Jayson is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an Aerospace Technician on large cargo class aircraft during operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

One of Jayson's current practical Engineering Projects here at MSU is the repair and calibration of a CMM - Coordinate Measurement Machine, which will be used by students in the AET department (both in the BSTM as well as in the MSETM programs) for the collection of precision measurement data. Jayson's career goals are aimed at management in the field of industrial & technology management.
Jimmy Powell
Jimmy grew up is the small town of Orangeburg, Ky. He is a graduate seeking his Maser of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Morehead State University in May of 2013. He has one daughter that lives in Columbia, Ky. He now resides in Maysville, Ky. with his fiancé Suzie Hilterbrand. He has 3 younger brothers and his parents still reside in Orangeburg.
