Bio

Rebecca Purdy brings clinical expertise to the classroom, campus lab and clinical settings from her experience in areas of orthopedics, medical-surgical, telemetry, diagnostic imaging/cardiac cath lab and performance improvement. Rebecca incorporates real-life experiences into the high-fidelity simulation environment to enrich learning, challenge critical thinking, and promote sound clinical decision making. Rebecca Purdy is currently faculty adviser to the Student Nurses’ Association, where she is active with fundraising efforts and event oversight. She is also an active participant in Rowan County Christmas.
