The School of Business Administration offers online bachelor degree completer programs to any student. The completer programs allow students who have completed their general education course work and business foundation course requirements the opportunity to complete their upper level business requirements and area of concentration requirements completely online.  Students who have earned an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree through the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) are typically the most common type of student participating in one of our online degree programs. If you're not certain whether or not you would be a good candidate for an online completer program, please contact one of our advisors to get more information.

Online Completer Program Options (undergraduate)

Accounting

Graduates of the Accounting Program are equipped with the tools and techniques that will enable them to assume entry-level positions in public accounting, industry, government, and other institutions. Accounting students complete a sequence of accounting courses which prepares them to set up an accounting system, make ready all standard financial statements, and analyze accounting data and statements for use in managerial decision making. The Accounting Program is designed to help students meet academic requirements for taking the CPA and other professional accounting exams.

Computer Information Systems

The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program will prepare students with the organizational and technical abilities needed for professional information technology positions in contemporary organizations. CIS students will learn to assess business needs and develop appropriate solutions and are provided with programming, database, data communications, and project management skills, along with learning how to plan and implement information systems in organizations.

Graduates are employed as systems analysts, applications programmers, Web developers, network administrators, and information systems consultants.

General Business

The purpose of the General Business Option is to prepare students in all areas of business. A graduate can enter small business, marketing, information technology, federal and state government, end-user computing, insurance, real estate, banking institutions, sales, or entry into an MBA program.

Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship

The Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship concentration is an applied study of small business ownership and management, of the entrepreneur as an agent of innovation, and of entrepreneurship as an organization/management process. Although generally focused on issues relating to new or small ventures, the program also explores entrepreneurial concepts without regard to company age or size. The concentration includes coursework in the financial, management, marketing, and legal aspects of new and growing entrepreneurial ventures.
