Bio

Misty Prater is the Imaging Sciences Laboratory Coordinator at Morehead State University. She has been employed by the University since 2006. Prior to this employment, she worked as a Radiologic Technologist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY and as a Computed Tomography/Radiologic Technologist at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

Misty completed both her Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of University Studies degrees from Morehead State University in 2000. She later obtained her Master of Art degree in Adult and Higher Education from Morehead State University in 2009. Misty is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and is also a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
