Our department is a community of scholars dedicated to research, teaching, and the success of our students. We provide the opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience through engaging in original research, participating in mock trials, and undertaking service learning projects. Faculty also supervise student travel, not just in this country but overseas as well, where students can be exposed to the history, philosophy, religion, and legal dimensions of different cultures. Our research fellowships and discipline-specific student organizations also help to prepare our students to excel in professional careers, law school, and graduate programs of study.
