Those words on the Kentucky flag have never wrung more true than in the last few days. Alumni, friends, family, students and strangers, but all Kentuckians have been standing together to help the people of Kentucky deal with the tremendous damage and loss from Friday's storm. Our OVC rival Murray State has begun disaster relief efforts and provided a link to our MSU Cares website. All sorts of organizations and businesses are pulling together to provide much needed supplies and services, and we must be sure this continues long after the band aids, water and shelter - when people begin to rebuild or find new places to live. Thank you to all who are helping - in any way that you can!
MSU has started a fund to support students who are impacted and need supplies, food, money, etc. to return to school. If you would like to assist with this fund, you may contribute online at https://www.alumni.moreheadstate.edu/makegift.
MSU Community,
We know that it is important to share messages and ask questions during this difficult time and this message board is a place for that. Some of you may use Facebook or Twitter for that, this is offered as an alternative. Please keep your posts respectful of others.
