    • Interdisciplinary International Studies Degree Options

      The major and minor in International Studies provide students with the opportunity to learn about the global world in which we live.  Students in the major complete a core of classes and a language requirement, choose a track through which they can focus on an area  of interest, and study abroad.     • Legal Studies

      The B.A. in Legal Studies is designed to equip graduates with the appropriate applied and theoretical knowledge of law to successfully assist lawyers in providing legal services to clients. The major and area of concentration combine the advantages of a liberal arts education with the development of professional skills necessary to provide legal assistance to attorneys.  

    • Master of Arts in Art

      The Department of Art offers you three individual paths towards earning your Master of Arts in Art degree. This 30 hour degree enables you to choose from three Concentrations: Art Education, Graphic Design, and Studio Art.

    • Master of Arts in Communication

      The Masters of Arts Program in Communication provides advanced study of communication for professionals currently in the workforce, and for recent graduates of appropriate bachelor’s degree programs. Through a balance of core and specialty courses, students broaden their knowledge of the communication field while learning the theory and practice necessary to raise their communication competence to higher levels.

    • Master of Arts in Social Science

      The Master of Arts in Social Sciences provides an interdisciplinary approach to graduate work in social science. The program is designed with three groups of potential students in mind: service region social studies teachers pursuing a first or second Master’s degree; place-bound students who would like to pursue graduate study for career or personal reasons; and students who will attend law school or pursue doctoral study at other institutions.

       

    • Minor in English

    • Minor in Military Science

       Army ROTC is a program that provides college-trained officers for the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard and the Army Reserve.  Scholarships are provided to eligible students, when available.

    • Music - Master of Music - Concentration in Music Education-MM

      The Master of Music - Emphasis in Music Education option provides a curriculum that offers both accessibility and flexibility. Several of the courses for this degree are offered online with future online courses under development.

    • Music - Master of Music - Concentration in Music Performance-MM

      Study in the Master of Music - Emphasis in Performance is centered around a specialization in voice or in instrumental and choral conducting, brasswinds, woodwinds, percussion, orchestral strings, keyboard instruments, guitar, and jazz.

    • Music - Minor in Music

      The Minor in Music is for those students who desire to pursue a major in a non-music field but also wish formal study in music.

    • Music - Minor in Traditional Music

      The Minor in Traditional Music program is offered in conjunction with the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music.

    • Music - Post-Baccalaureate Integrated Music P-12 Initial Certification Program

      Post-Baccalaureate Integrated Music P-12 Initial Certification Program is for or those students with a non-teaching undergraduate degree in music who wish to pursue teacher certification in music.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Collaborative Piano Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Arts in Music (Traditional Music)-Major (BA)

      The Bachelor of Arts in Music - Traditional Music program is offered in conjunction with the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Arts in Music-Major (BA)

      The Bachelor of Arts degree in music provides for the study of music within a liberal arts curriculum.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Jazz Studies Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Keyboard Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Percussion Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Voice Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching.

    • Music Major - Bachelor of Music (BM) Area in Music Performance with a Woodwind-Brasswind Track

      The Bachelor of Music program is designed for exceptional, musically advanced students who are planning careers in music as performers and/or private teachers. It does not meet certification requirements for public school teaching.
