    The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major or an area in art provides for the study of studio art within a liberal arts curriculum. It is suitable for preparing students for careers in art other than teaching art in the public schools.

    Art Education P-12

    The Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education P-12 with a major or an area provides for the study of studio art and art education. The program is suitable for preparing students for careers in teaching art in the public schools and meets teacher certification requirements.

    Art History Minor

    The minor in Art History is a 21-credit hour program designed to strengthen the non-art major's knowledge of visual arts and architecture across time, from the local to the global.

    Art, Master of Arts

    The Department of Art offers you three individual paths towards earning your Master of Arts in Art degree. This 30 hour degree enables you to choose from three Concentrations: Art Education, Graphic Design, and Studio Art.

    Arts Entrepreneurship Minor

    As a student studying arts entrepreneurship, you will acquire the skills needed to create your own market-based opportunities in the arts. 

    Studio Art Minor

    The minor in Studio Art is a 24-credit hour program designed to strengthen the student's studio art experiences.

    Visual Communication Minor
    A Visual Communication Minor will prepare students for the 21st century through exposure to emerging technologies and resulting computer competencies.
