You will receive an admission decision after the application and all admission materials that are required are submitted. To better assist you with your next steps once you've been admitted, please review the information below.
STEP 1 - REVIEW LETTER OF GRADUATE ADMISSION & ACTIVATE STUDENT ACCOUNT
You will receive an official letter of admission to your degree/non-degree program once you're officially admitted. Please review your official Letter of Graduate Admission which contains your student ID# as well as instructions for activating your student account. If this is your first time enrolling in classes at Morehead State, you will need to initialize your student account.
STEP 2 – ENROLL IN COURSES
Enrolling in classes is available through the "mymoreheadstate" portal. Your letter will include your advisor’s name and any conditions assigned to your admission. Please review your conditions carefully. If you need guidance selecting which courses you should enroll in, you should refer to the online Graduate Catalog or contact your advisor.
STEP 3 – ENROLL IN A MANDATORY “PROTECT CLASS SCHEDULE” PLAN
Once you enroll in your classes for the semester, you will need to protect your class schedule by enrolling in a payment plan. To see all options available to students, please login to your “mymoreheadstate” student account. Under the “Finance” tab, click “My Billing Info”. There, you will find the different plans and instructions on how to enroll in them. You must enroll in a “Protect Class Schedule” plan each semester that you enroll in courses.
STEP 4 - INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Please communicate directly with the Office of International Student Services regarding your immigration status requirements.
STEP 5 - APPLY FOR CAMPUS HOUSING (IF APPLICABLE)
If you are interested in applying for housing, please contact Student Housing to fill out the online housing application. The sooner you contact the more likely you are to receive your first choice.
Step 6 - Contact
If you require further assistance or have additional questions related to your admission or program, please do not hesitate to contact the Graduate School.
