Morehead State offers nearly 100 quality academic programs at the 2-year, 4-year and graduate levels. Our alumni are accepted into professional programs (like law, medicine, veterinary science, etc.) at rates above the national average. Whatever your interest, MSU can help you achieve your dream.

 MSU provides transfer students with:

You are considered a transfer student if you have taken college classes elsewhere after high school graduation or completion of the GED, and you may qualify for MSU's Transfer Scholarship or if you live in certain Eastern Kentucky counties, you may qualify for the Kentucky Coal County College Completion Scholarship.

KCTCS Graduates 
Do you already have an associate's degree from KCTCS and want to earn a bachelor's degree? You may qualify for MSU's KCTCS Transfer Scholarship.

Transferring is Simple!

1. Complete the Online Undergraduate Admissions/Scholarship Application.

2. Have official transcripts from each previous institution be sent to the Office of Enrollment Services. In order to be official, transcripts must be mailed directly to MSU from your previous school.

3. If you have completed less than 24 college credit hours, please submit your High School Transcripts and ACT or SAT scores.

4. Provide the $30 Application Fee.
