Flex Dining Dollars

The Flex Dining Dollars program is designed to provide those students without a meal plan more opportunities to enjoy dining on campus through a pre-paid Flex Dining Dollars account.

The Flex Dining Dollars Program is a mandatory program for all full-time undergraduate and graduate students (12 hrs) who do not have a required minimum default plan or another selected meal plan charged to their student billing.

At the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, each student who is enrolled in 12 or more hours automatically receives $100 ($200 for the academic year) in Flex Dollars to be used at campus dining locations. Students will be billed $100 for this amount on their student account. The $100 per semester averages to $0.89 per day to spend on campus for food and beverages including Starbucks, the P.O.D. convenience store and the Camden-Carroll Cafe. The Dining Dollars Program is not available during the summer semesters.

Students who have selected a meal plan, are charged the 15 weekly default required for freshmen and sophomores, or choose to purchase a meal plan within the current semester are NOT required to participate in both a meal plan and the Flex Dining Dollars program. The $100 amount will be credited back to your student account when the selected meal plan is charged.
