What You Can Do with a career and technical education master's Degree

You can pursue career advancement in agriculture-based career and technical programs at the secondary and post-secondary level in teaching and administration or prepare technologists with advanced technical management skills of personnel training and facilities.

What Makes Morehead State’s Program Different

Students in our agriculture programs learn by doing at the Derrickson Agricultural Complex, our 325-acre farm. With horticulture operations, livestock and a large and small animal hospital, you’ll acquire the hands-on skills that take learning beyond the classroom.

Admission to the CTE-Agriculture M.S.

To enroll in the program, you must be accepted for graduate study at MSU.

In addition, you must either:

  • Have a minimum GRE score of 285 (current scale) in two subjects, OR

  • Have an Undergraduate GPA X GRE = 855.
