What You’ll Learn in Convergent media

Our program combines aspects of journalism, broadcasting and audio/video production and web design with innovative technology to give you the skills you need to be a successful media professional. Plus, you’ll get valuable hands-on experience that will give you an edge in a competitive job market.

What You Can Do with a convergent media degree

You can pursue careers in journalism, videography, broadcast production and more. You can also advance your education by attending graduate school.

What makes MSU's program different

Our students receive hands-on experience in our on-campus broadcast facilities. MSU-TV is a three-camera television studio where students create original programming. Morehead State Public Radio is the campus radio station and a National Public Radio member station. The Trail Blazer is Morehead State’s student news publication and can be found online at www.thetrailblazeronline.net.

Admission to Convergent Media

To enroll in the convergent media program, you must be accepted to MSU.
