Upward Bound

Upward Bound (UB) is an academic preparatory program for high school students. The purpose of the program is to help you prepare for college by generating the academic skills and motivation necessary for success. The UB program at MSU serves high school students in eighteen Eastern Kentucky counties. The program is composed of two distinct programs: Upward Bound Classic (also known as UB Central & East) and Upward Bound Math and Science.

The Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science programs are funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Education. This website was developed under those grants. However, the contents do not necessarily represent the policy or views of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government.
