Isolation/Quarantine Information Isolation COVID-19 positive students are expected to self-report and self-isolate. MSU recommends that all students isolate at home. Students who live on campus (resident students) are encouraged to isolate at home for the protection of their roommates and other resident students. If a resident student cannot isolate at home, then the student may self-isolate in their assigned residential space. However, no additional services will be provided to them: The student must get their own meals or have someone deliver the meals to them. The student must clean and sanitize their own room and any touched surfaces. If residence hall has community bathroom, the student uses the community bathroom like every other student, but must clean and sanitize any touched surfaces. Any time the student leaves their assigned room, they must wear a KN- or N-95 masks, or they must double mask. The student should take all reasonable precautions to social distance from others inside and outside their room.
