What happens at Open House?

  • Speak with engaging faculty from our academic programs.
  • Get guidance from financial aid representatives.
  • Learn about advising, tutoring, career planning and other student success services.
  • Eat lunch with students, faculty and staff.
  • Take a tour of MSU’s beautiful campus and learn why students say they feel at home as soon as they arrive.
  • If you apply for undergraduate admission at Open House, we will waive the $30 application fee.

Craft Academy Open House

At MSU’s Open House events, students interested in attending the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics will:

  • Speak with engaging faculty from MSU’s academic programs.
  • Meet Craft Academy staff and current Craft Academy students.
  • Learn about the Craft Academy program and our STEM+X curriculum.
  • Participate in a Q & A session with Craft staff and students.
  • Take a tour of MSU’s beautiful campus and Grote-Thompson Hall, where Craft Academy students live.

Tour the Rock

As part of Open House, you'll get an inside look at the newly-built Rocky Adkins Dining Commons (“The Rock”), a 25,000 square-foot dining facility connected to the East Parking Complex. It features a variety of fresh and made-to-order food, as well as great views of campus.
