Mtra. Miescha Bycura has been a faculty member of the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences since 2016. Prior to her time at MSU, she spent over a decade in Mexico teaching a wide range of subjects in both Spanish and English. Her expertise lies in language and culture courses. Some of the courses she has taught include subjects as diverse as international marketing and literary theory, as well as standard language acquisition courses of all levels.

Mtra. Bycura has served as the liaison for alumni job placement as well as the head of cultural events for the Department of Language and Literature at Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. She also works as a translator, interpreter and industry consultant for companies who do business in Latin America. These experiences have helped her form a strong connection between her classrooms and the community. Her hope is that her unique cultural experiences living, teaching, and working abroad will help create opportunities for global understanding and collaboration.
