Erik L. Lewis is a jack-of-all-trades political science generalist. He has taught over 100 sections of introductory U.S. government and courses dealing with more than a dozen topics in U.S. politics, basic comparative politics, political theory, and public administration. Besides Morehead State, he has taught at Maysville Community and Technical College, Miami University Hamilton, University of Louisville, Ohio University, and has substitute taught in the Rowan County Schools. His research interests include: political culture and ideology, action, organization, symbolic politics, political learning, public work, and the interface between methodology and political theory.  He has also been active in various aspects of grass-roots politics.
