Professor Albrink likes to keep class exciting and engaging. She relates well to students using modern pop culture references and hypothetical scenarios. Professor Albrink gives students hands-on projects like title searches and she also fosters undergraduate student research. Her lectures use slide presentations, memes, fun not-for-credit online quizzes, and more.
Professor Albrink lives in Maysville, Kentucky with her husband, two toddlers, and dog. When she’s not in the classroom, she likes performing in community theater and playing video games.
Professor Albrink is the Legal Studies program coordinator and a graduate of the program. She has experience in state government at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Office of the Attorney General, Office of Child Abuse and Human Trafficking Prevention and Prosecution. She also worked in private practice in Maysville, KY.
Professor Albrink’s research focus is on child welfare law and sexual violence. She also coordinates the program’s divorce clinic which provides students an opportunity to engage with real clients who would not be able to afford a divorce otherwise.
