Admission and Scholarship Information

Eligibility & Admission

High school and transfer students that meet the admission requirements to Morehead State University are eligible to enroll in the Theatre and Dance programs. No formal audition is required. Students desiring to major in theatre should complete the Theatre Admission and Scholarship Application. Transfer Student Admission

The theatre or dance transfer student entering the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance by transfer must submit an official transcript of all previous college work.  The student will work with the Department Chair to determine which courses in theatre and dance from the previous institution will transfer to the programs at MSU.

Generous non-resident tuition scholarships for academically qualified students:
  • College Access Program Grant (KY residents only). One-time monetary award.
  • Additional institutional scholarships based on merit and need.
  • External site devoted to additional opportunities available in the US.
  • Note that all federal and state need-based financial aid and loans require the FAFSA. It is recommended that this form be completed as soon as possible.
