A student teacher engaging with children.

MSU's Bachelor of Arts in Early Elementary (P-5) will prepare you to provide quality, research-based instruction to children in primary through fifth grade. You will work with faculty members who have years of experience working in P-12 schools prior to teaching in higher education. Class sizes are kept small so you can closely interact with your professors and other students in the classroom, providing you with opportunities for individual mentoring to support your growth as an educator.

You will learn to assess the developmental and instructional needs of children and will develop skills in planning and implementing appropriate instructional programs for children.

Our graduates demonstrate the ability to provide leadership within their schools, community and the education profession.
