The American Democracy Project (ADP) is a multi-campus initiative focused on higher education’s role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens for our democracy.

Campus Compact

Campus Compact is a national coalition of more than 1,100 college and university presidents - representing some 6 million students - dedicated to promoting community service, civic engagement, and service-learning in higher education.

Greenleaf Center for Servant-Leadership

The Greenleaf Center is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Indiana. The Center promotes the understanding and practice of servant leadership.  

Institute for Citizenship and Social Responsibility

The Institute for Citizenship & Social Responsibility (ICSR) is an organization of administrators, faculty, students, and staff committed to promoting careful reflection on civic values; engaging in critical analysis of contemporary social, economic, and political problems; and developing the capacities and skills of community organizing, citizenship, and civic engagement as a means to achieving social change and the common good.

Jepson School of Leadership Studies (University of Richmond)

The Jepson School draws upon the liberal arts to advance the understanding of leadership and the challenges of ethical and effective engagement in society.

Kentucky Campus Compact

The Kentucky Campus Compact (KyCC) is a statewide coalition of Kentucky college and university presidents and their institutions, both public and private. The purpose of KyCC is to help individual institutions increase their capacity for service and civic engagement and to promote statewide sharing of effective practices. 

Kentucky Nonprofit Network (KNN) 

Founded in 2002, the KY Nonprofit Network is an association of organizations of all types and sizes in all 120 Kentucky counties. We are a statewide resource for nonprofit board members, staff and other leaders, an information center on effective nonprofit organizational practices, and an advocate for the nonprofit sector as a whole. We are an outreach program of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Department of Community & Leadership Development. The Kentucky Nonprofit Network exists to serve, strengthen and support the Commonwealth’s nonprofit organizations.

MasonLEADS! (George Mason University)

Our commitment is to engage our students, faculty, staff and alumni in creating a socially conscious, civically engaged, and global campus community through leadership at all levels of our institution.

National Service-Learning Clearinghouse

Through service-learning and community engagement, institutions of higher education improve community life and educate students for civic and social responsibility.
