Thomas Albert

Biography

Thomas Albert has performed traditional music on notable stages regionally and internationally. He has recorded in traditional music styles including Old Time, Bluegrass and Americana. He has performed on radio and television and has done the necessary interviews for print and digital media to successfully publicize concerts. He is comfortable functioning as band leader, band member or side man and understands what is needed to function smoothly in each capacity. He has experience working as a recording artist, engineer and producer.

Thomas Albert is part of the new generation. He loves and is well familiar with both modern and old traditional music and understands recent methods for promotion, research and communication.

Personal friendships and professional interaction with artists such as country music star, Jim Lauderdale, Bill Kirchen ("The Titan of The Telecaster," former member of Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen), “The Queen of Bluegrass Music,” Rhonda Vincent, bluegrass music legend, Dave Evans, recording artist, Rob McNurlin, and multi-instrumentalist, Jay Flippin give him unique and invaluable perspective when teaching about Traditional Music.
