Joey Bryant

Biography

A native of Floyd County, Joey Bryant graduated from Allen Central High School in 2003. He served in the Kentucky Army National Guard from 2003 to 2009 as a combat engineer with the 577th Sapper Company in Prestonsburg. During this time, he was deployed to Kosovo (2004-05) and Afghanistan (2008-09) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Joey earned his Associates in Applied Science in Surveying and Mapping from Big Sandy Community and Technical College in 2005, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and History from Morehead Stated University in 2011 and a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from Morehead State University in 2017.

Before joining the Eagle Battalion in August 2018, Joey was a transfer coordinator and VA certifying official with Morehead State University’s Office of the Registrar from 2011-18.
