Bio

Dr. Blackledge earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from UCLA and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada. Dr. Blackledge's research is focused primarily on mindfulness-based approaches to psychotherapy (e.g., acceptance and commitment therapy) and behavioral accounts of human language and cognition (e.g., relational frame theory). He regularly teaches Introduction to Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Graduate Ethics & Multicultural Psychology, Advanced Graduate Psychotherapy, and Graduate Learning Theory.
