Bio

Michael Combs is the telescope operations engineer at the Space Science Center at MSU. He has been with the Morehead Astrophysical Observatory since 1996. He has also served as the laboratory technician for the industrial education and technology (IET) and physical sciences departments from 1999-2000. He maintains all antennas and system hardware at the Space Science Center and is involved in design and development of new systems. His research interests are in the areas of telecommunications, computer applications and networking technology. Combs has an Associate of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University and bachelor's and master's degrees from MSU.
