Bio
Mrs. Damron is currently an Instructor of Nursing in the BSN program, where she co-teaches first-semester students in the Foundational Skills for Professional Nursing course and second-semester students in the Community-Based Nursing course. She also works with senior students in the Advanced Nursing Practicum course just prior to graduation. She teaches several online courses for the nursing program in the online RN-BSN program. Lastly, she is also a freelance subject matter expert (SME) for a prominent nursing textbook publisher.
Prior to coming to MSU, Mrs. Damron taught in the Associate Degree Nursing program at St. Mary’s Medical Center in association with Marshall University. As an RN for 35 years, Mrs. Damron has worked in a variety of nursing areas and has vast hospital experience. Her nursing experience includes a background in Medical-Surgical, Nursing Education, Women’s Health, Quality Management and Home Health.
She resides in Grayson, KY, with her husband, and they have two children and three grandchildren.
