Bio

Hi everyone!
My name is Asiah Handley. I graduated from MSU with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (Management) in Spring 2020. I am originally from Louisville, KY, but have resided in Morehead for the last five years. I started working in the MSU Admissions office in Spring 2021. I graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Fall 2023. I joined Counseling and Health Services (CHS) in Fall 2022, where I completed my clinical experience. I am now a full-time Mental Health Counselor and am pleased to have the opportunity to assist students with their well-being on and off campus. I have coordinated outreach events to provide students with mental health resources. It is imperative that students are aware of the services CHS offers. We want students to know we are here to assist them as much as possible!

My strengths/abilities include being a caring, loyal, and genuine person. My hobbies/interests are self-care activities which include hand and foot care, painting, and walking. I love to spend time with my family and close friends.
