Bio
Dr. Kibria received a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2009 and a master’s in Petroleum Geology and Geophysics from the University of Dhaka in 2011. He got his second master's in Hydrogeology from Kansas State University in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019, emphasizing porous media characterization. After his Ph.D., he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania for a year. Then he moved to the University of Texas at Arlington, where he worked as a Research Associate for a year. Dr. Kibria accepted a Tenure-track faculty position at Morehead State University in 2021 fall and moved to Morehead.
