Profile

Dr. Krummrich teaches primarily in the Honors Program, but has also offered classes in Spanish and in English literature during his years at MSU. He has served as Chair of the Department of English, Foreign Languages and Philosophy, and as Chair of the Department of international and Interdisciplinary Studies. Since 2009 he has directed the Academic Honors Program.
 
Dr. Krummrich has concentrated on translation and travel writing in recent years; he has published four books of translations, and several scholarly articles on translation and travel writing, among other subjects. He has taught classes on both subjects, and has involved a number of undergraduate research fellows in his work, participating as a mentor every year since the beginning of the Undergraduate Research Fellowship program.
