Profile

A graduate of Morehead State University, Mr. Manis counts it a privilege and honor to be teaching in the same department from which he earned his degrees. He regularly teaches multiple sections of the fundamentals of speech communication course, as well as several upper-division courses each semester.  Additionally, Manis serves as faculty adviser to the MSU chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America, chairs the departmental scholarship committee, and reports COMS 108 assessment data for general education. His research interests include political communication, persuasion, and leadership.
