Profile

Dr. Scott Meisel started teaching accounting at Morehead State University in 2002. He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Before earning his Ph.D., he taught at Miami University (2 years), Indiana State University (5 years), Cumberland College (1 1/2 years), Kentucky State University (1 year ) and Ashland University (3 years).

Meisel said that he has always been a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan, regardless of where life took him. In addition to the Browns and Indians, he became interested in University of Kentucky Basketball and Football while living in Kentucky. In addition to sports, he also enjoys movies and television. It's an interest he believes began in high school when he worked as an usher and assistant manager in his local Shaker Heights, Ohio, movie theater.
