Heather O'Hara

Biography

Heather was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. She was a graduate of Morgan County High School and attended Morehead State University for her associate’s degree in nursing. She begin working immediately after receiving her degree. She returned to MSU and obtained her RN-BSN post licensure degree. Heather has been in the field of health care for 17 years, as she started as a nursing assistant at a skilled nursing facility while going to college. She has experience as an emergency department, medical-surgical, and telemetry-cardiac nurse. Heather has been an adjunct nursing staff with MSU's ADN program for the past three years. She is very excited to transition to full-time nursing education. Heather is also a wife and mother to four wonderful children.
