Anindita Paul

Profile

Dr. Anindita Paul received her Ph.D.in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Master’s in Technology in VLSI Design from the Institute of Radio Physics & Electronics, University of Calcutta. She received the Graduate Assistant Award for Academic & Research Achievement from the College of Engineering, NMSU, 2019. Dr. Paul is the lead author of 12 scholarly articles. Her professional experience includes working as a Lecturer in several engineering colleges in India, as an Analog Integrated Circuit Designer Intern in the semiconductor industries, and as an Assistant Professor at Manhattan College, Youngstown State University, and Oregon Institute of Technology. She joined as an Assistant Professor in Engineering & Technology Management department at Morehead State University in Fall 2022.

Her teaching areas include CMOS Analog VLSI Circuit Design, Digital VLSI Circuit Design, Microcontroller System Design, Circuit Analysis, Signals & Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Solid-State Electronic Devices, Microelectronic circuit design, and Analog & Digital Electronics, Analog & Digital Communications, Wireless Communications. Her current research focuses on designing low-voltage, low-power analog integrated circuits for portable electronic equipment, Biomedical applications, Internet of Things applications, and Renewable Energy.

About teaching, Dr. Paul says she likes to solve critical technological problems with her students. She feels teaching allows her to be creative and that her novel teaching profession helps her gain new knowledge daily, which she enjoys the most. She hopes that, through her teaching, students will develop critical thinking in order to solve engineering problems efficiently while maintaining work ethics. She says, "It is expected that they would apply their engineering knowledge for the betterment of human beings without affecting the environment."
