BIO
Siriporn Peters is an Assistant Professor of Art and Design (Graphic Design) of the Department of Communication, Media, Art, and Design, Caudill College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Morehead State University (MSU) in Kentucky. She graduated with a Ph.D. in research from the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Her Ph.D. research in “Design for enabling sustainable livelihoods in disadvantaged communities; a case study in Amphoe Phrapradaeng, Samut Prakran Province in Thailand,” won a Good Ph.D. Research Award 2012 of the National Research Council of Thailand. She has several years of experience teaching graphic design courses at all levels, conducting design research, and collaborating on projects in the U.S. and Thailand. Currently, she is a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) in New York and the Design Research Society in the United Kingdom. She also served on the MSU workgroup to infuse the campus with information and education on Artificial Intelligence.
