After being raised near Newark, Ohio, Brian Schworm attended Berea College, earning a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics while competing in cross-country and track. He then earned an M.A. in mathematics at the University of Kentucky. Brian joined the MSU faculty in January 1999 as a mathematics instructor. He enjoys teaching, competitive cycling and outdoor activities with his family.
