Spring Tubafest 2024: Guest Artist Dr. Brandon Smith

Tubafest is a series of concerts featuring instruments in the tuba family.
Guest artist Dr. Brandon Smith, visiting lecturer of tuba and euphonium at the University of Kentucky, will hold a recitial on Friday, March 22, at 11 a.m. in Duncan Recital Hall.
Brandon Smith is proud to be joining the University of Kentucky faculty as the Visiting Lecturer of tuba and euphonium. Prior to this position, Smith led the tuba and euphonium studio at Valdosta State University, where he taught applied lessons, studio class, brass methods, and music appreciation. Smith has given masterclasses at several universities, including Kennesaw State University, Florida A&M University, Mississippi State University, University of Tennessee, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Reinhardt University.
All events are free and open to the public.
All performances are in Duncan Recital Hall unless another location is indicated by the event.
