Mozart Celebration Concert to be held Jan. 26
A concert celebrating the works of Mozart will be held Thursday, Jan. 26 at Duncan Recital Hall. the concert features many MSU faculty members and students and will include performances of movements of Mozart's well-loved "Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K. 688," with soloist Dr. Lori Baruth; "Serenade for winds in Eb Major, K. 375;" Sonata for Piano-four hands, the Overture to "The Marriage of Figaro," as well as art songs and arrangements of "Ave Verum Corpus" and the "Requiem."
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission is free. The concert is sponsored by the School of Music, Theatre and Dance. For more information, call 606-783-2473.
