Sophomore art exhibition opens Feb. 1
The main gallery of Morehead State University’s Claypool-Young Art Building will host the 2017 Sophomore Art and Design Exhibition, Feb. 1-22.
The annual show is an opportunity for MSU’s Department of Art and Design students to exhibit as emerging artists in a professional setting at the midpoint of their college career. The exhibition will open with a reception featuring live music by students and complimentary refreshments Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 5-7 p.m.

The gallery within Claypool-Young features contemporary art for the MSU community as well as the University’s service region.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment, and is free and open to the public. Parking is available on Main Street and across campus after 5 p.m.
