BFA Art and Design Exhibition opens April 26
The main gallery of Morehead State University's Claypool-Young Art Building will host its "2017 Annual BFA Art and Design Exhibition,” April 26 through May 10.
The second annual show is an opportunity for MSU Department of Art and Design B.F.A. degree candidates to exhibit as emerging artists in a large group exhibition.
The exhibitions open with a reception featuring live music by The Canninghams and complimentary refreshments on Wednesday, April 26, from 5-7 p.m.
Participating artists include: Kristin Busby, Morehead; Waylan Coffey, Frenchburg; Adam Davis, Emerson; Brooke Farmer, Stanton; Kristin Gunn, Stanton; Nicholas Hunt, Maysville; Michael Hutchinson, Salyersville; Dakota Johnson, Morehead; Elyssia Lowe, Grayson; and Heather Milby, Greensburg.
The gallery, within Claypool-Young, features contemporary art for the MSU community as well as the University’s service region.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment, and is free and open to the public. Parking is available on Main Street and across campus after 5 p.m.
