MSU Farm's annual plant sale begins April 28
The MSU Farm will offer a wide selection of flower and vegetable plants to the public during its annual plant sale, April 28-30 and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays May 5-14.
Annual and perennial flowers, vegetable plants and herbs will be available, all of which were grown and cared for by MSU agricultural science students. All proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the University Farm.
The following plants will be available:
- Annual flowers: Petunias, Geraniums, Begonias, Impatients, Dahlias, Zinnias, Cosmos, Snapdragons, Coleus and more.
- Perennial flowers: Lavender and Purple Coneflower.
- Vegetable plants: Many varieties of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, zucchini and okra.
- Herbs: Several varieties of basil, cilantro, parsley, thyme, oregano, chives and sage.
Pricing is as follows:
- Potted flowers, $1
- Potted vegetables, $1.50
- Potted herbs, $2
- 6-pack plants, $2.50
- Hanging Baskets, $8
- Boston ferns, $8
Payment may be made by cash or check only.
