‘Nashville Nights’ Spring Gala 2017 recap

Morehead State University held its annual Spring Gala on Saturday, April 29, with this year’s theme “Nashville Nights” at the Derrickson Agricultural Complex.

Nearly 500 guests joined Dr. and Mrs. Wayne D. Andrews for a spectacular show that paid tribute to some of the legends of country music. The 2017 Spring Gala featured special guest performer Jill Andrews, Nashville singer-songwriter and daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Andrews.

Students and faculty from MSU’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance, and the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music provided additional entertainment.

The proceeds from this event, which raises approximately $100,000 annually, provide educational opportunities for MSU students.
